The 40th Suma Grand Tea Ceremony @Sumadera Temple, Suma Onsen Kotobukirou

The Suma Grand Tea Ceremony is held at Sumadera Temple every year from late spring to early summer.
It is a popular tea party that both local residents and tourists can casually attend in casual clothes.

This year, the 40th time, it will be held at two venues: "Sumadera Honbo" and "Suma Onsen Kotobukirou".
Shourouan Ogasawara-ryu Sencha will be in charge of hospitality at the Sumadera Honbo seat (tatami room), and Urasenke Tankokai Kobe 2nd branch will be in charge of hospitality at the Kotobukirou seat (chair seat).
*Advance ticket purchase is required to participate in the tea ceremony.

In addition, the "Ichigen Sumakoto Concert" will be held at the same time at the Sumadera Guest Hall.
The notes of the Sumakoto, which has been designated as an intangible cultural property of Hyogo Prefecture, resound throughout the area.

Why not spend a relaxing moment while enjoying matcha tea and the sounds of the koto in the Sumadera area where the green leaves are dazzling?
