Infiorata Kobe @Kitanosaka, Motomachi Anamon Shopping Street

"Infiorata Kobe" is a spring event in Kobe that is held every year during consecutive national holidays in April and May.

"Infiorata" means "spreading flowers" in Italian, and is an event where people create patterns with flower petals on roads and squares.
It is held in cities across Europe, including Genzano, Italy.

The event was first held in Kobe in 1997 with the desire to add beauty to the city of Kobe, which was damaged by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.
Since then, venues have been set up around the city under the concept of "an exhibition of flower paintings in the city", and the event continues to be held as a spring tradition in Kobe.

This year, it will be held at two venues: Kitanosaka and Motomachi Anamon Shopping Street.

Please visit Kobe while the city is colorfully decorated with flower paintings.
