Big Summer Collections Exhibition "Admiration of Paris and France", "75 years After the War - Things seen by War Painter Ryōhei Koiso"

Known of its art and culture France have been grasping the hearts of many Japanese thorough the years. Ryōhei Koiso, who had a huge interest in studying Western art, stayed in Paris for a long period twice in 1928-30 and 1960. During the collection exhibition \"Admiration of Paris and France\" we are going to show you the collection of art from France painted by 10 different artists related to Kobe and Koiso Incredibly talented Ryōhei Koiso have been painting illustrations and chronicles by the requests from the army. During the exhibition which will occur on 75th summer since the end of the war - \"75 years After the War - Things seen by War Painter Ryōhei Koiso\" - while focusing on Koiso's prewar, wartime, and postwar painting periods, we are going to take a look at these dreadful times, with works and materials that will include unveiled for the first time in the history soldier's sketches.
