Located in the Arima Onsen area, Zuihouji Park has many pine trees and maple trees, a key reason why the landscape is one of the most famous spots for autumn foliage in the Kansai region. The warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi once described it by saying, “regardless how many times you see it, is impossible to get tired of the beautiful view it has to offer". Also known as "the garden of life", you will find a go game board and stones believed to be Hideyoshi’s favourites, together with a mountain gate of the previous Zuihouji Park that was relocated from Fushimi Castle. It was also chosen as one of the fifty greatest flower spots of Kobe as the scenery is painted in beautiful sakura colours, making it a gorgeous place to enjoy cherry blossoms during spring .
