The Nada region, in eastern Kobe, is particularly ideal for making sake.Discover two of the most famous sake venues, Shushinkan and Kiku-Masamune, with a delicious lunch on site in-between. After an inside look at how it is made, tasting and the chance to buy souvenirs, we’ll visit the disaster museum chronicling the Great Hanshin-Awaji earthquake of 1995 and stories of tragedy, but also survival and recovery. Finally, we return to the theme of delicious drinks and end our tour in a local craft beer brewery!

The original building in 1659, later relocated to today's site in 1960, showcases items collectively designated as important tangible folk cultural property by the national government.
