Kobe City Archeological Resource Center
There are many historically important sites in Kobe, such as Goshikiduka tomb and Ohtoshiyama Site. Kobe Archeological Center engaged the research, sorting, storage of relics excavated at sites in the city as a theme of "The Rivived History of Kobe" Many excavations from the New Stone Age to the medieval times are exhibited. Storage spaces are open to public so that a whole family can enjoy the history of Kobe by closely observing the materials excavated. Also there are workshops you can experience creating Jomon Earthenware and special events are held a few times in a year.
