Special Exhibition "Colorful JAPAN - A Journey into Hand-Colored Photography from the End of the Edo Period to the Meiji Period-" @Kobe City Museum

This special exhibition features hand-colored photography from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period exhibiting approximately 150 photographs and related materials.

These hand-colored black-and-white photographs, which were painted with exquisite colors one by one, have a unique beauty that has fascinated people throughout the ages.

Come and experience the fascination of "Japan", the mystery of the Orient, created by skillful composition and beautiful coloring.
