Higashinada Danjiri Week @ Mikage, Sumiyoshi, Motoyama, Uozaki
Danjiri is a Japanese traditional festival held to pray for good health, beautiful harvests, and prosperity.
The elaborately crafted wooden floats, adorned with intricate carvings and vibrant colors are pulled through the streets. The procession is accompanied by powerful chants and rhythmic beats of drums and bells.
Each district showcases its unique Danjiri decoration, reflecting local history and culture.
