AQUARIUM × ART átoa

átoa is a theatre-style aquarium in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, combining aquarium, digital art and stage design. átoa has a total of eight fantastic and original spaces, including a cave and a forest of spirits. Among these are "MIYABI" a Japanese-style world where you are surrounded by the changing seasonal scenery of Japan and feel as if you are walking through a Japanese garden, and "PLANETS" a zone where you are surrounded by a veil of light and music around one of the largest spherical aquariums in Japan, where you will feel as if you have entered a scene from a film or play, creating an unrealistic immersive experience. You can enjoy the unreal immersive feeling of being in a scene from a film or play. The átoa café offers lovely sweets and drinks while overlooking the Port of Kobe, and the museum shop sells limited edition átoa goods and Kobe-style souvenirs.
